In order to secure media coverage they would ideally need to be in their 40s or younger, and if possible have a young family.  As a general rule, the younger they are the easier it is to interest the media.

We hold details of 50 people who are happy to share their experiences of MND.  These individuals not only talk to the media, but feature in our fundraising appeals, respond to government consultations and talk to healthcare professionals.  They are invaluable.  We always need people to share their experiences.
 
I can contact them and talk about our work here and how we use individual experiences of MND to raise awareness about the disease.  They are never under any obligation to do anything.  We make sure it is a rewarding and enjoyable experience for them. 
 
I know that there are some amazing people out there, keen to be involved in things like this but I just need a little help finding them!
